This is a recipe I found in the Nov/Dec Slimming World magazine. I’ve used it a few times now and it’s become a firm favourite.
Extra Easy ~ Free
8 slices of bacon, all fat removed and chopped
1 onion diced
200g button mushrooms, halved
2 garlic cloves, chopped
Parsley to garnish
Cook the tagliatelle according to the packet. Drain and set aside *this is very important to ensure a nice sauce later!
In a pan, add the bacon, mushroom, onion and garlic and cook until the bacon has become crispy and the mushrooms softened.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl
Add your drained pasta to the pan, stir in then remove from heat. Pour in the whisked eggs** and toss the pasta to coat.
*if you don’t drain and let your pasta cool, when you add the eggs at the end they will scramble and trust me it doesn’t taste anywhere near as nice!
**pregnant women should not eat partially cooked eggs.
Well my walking still isn’t back up to the normal amount that I have been doing recently but it has been better this week despite not getting my usual extra long walks in over the weekend.
I’m still wearing my fitbit and love seeing my weekly results.
I’m finding it really motivates me to move more.
I gave myself a real talking to last week and I have really stuck to plan on most days. We were out on Saturday and my eating and drinking was awful but I pulled it straight back and didn’t rely on a McDs to get me through Sunday which was another win compared to last week.
I have also bought a new notebook and I’m making sure I’m writing everything in it, I was half heartily doing this before but for this last week I’ve been writing and syning everything to try and get on track and stick to it. I’m pleased to report a loss of:
I’m over the moon with this, it’s been a while since I’ve lost more than 1lb in a week so I won’t be complaining. I know with slimming world because of what you can eat the weight is slower coming off but to see 2lbs has really perked me up!
So today’s weigh in has brought my total lost so far up to:
I’ve hit the stone and a half mark!!!
Only 3.5lbs left to go to get to target for IVF.
